Hottest Trends in Boots for the Long and Cold Winter Season

Fall has arrived, and you know exactly what that means. The temperature has dropped, so if you haven’t already, it’s time to start rolling out the looks for winter. There are so many boots for women to chose from this season, which makes it hard to decided which will look best with your outfit! This season high lace-up and especially hardware accented boots are going to be really hot.

Below are some of my favorites. Hope you will like them as much as I do!

The canvas and leather wedge ankle boots by Chloé sums up the whole trend for me. Its high laces and textured rubber wedge heel give you a secure base for when you are out and about. And the fold-over shearling-lined cuffs will make you feel cozy and cute wherever you go. This shoe would look great paired with stretch wool-flannel cropped pants and wool coat.

The Burberry Quilted-leather ankle boots is much more of a dress bootie. Its brown color gives it a classic look and strap buckles add an upscale look to this already sharp looking boot. Pair them with a biker jacket and skinny jeans.

Another big trend in the fall boots is hardware accents. The boots are dresses-up with attention grabbing hardware designs and details like studs, zippers and buckles. The Alexander McQueen Chain-trimmed leather ankle boots gets a dramatic lift with chain and ring-embellished strap across round toe, transforming it into a bootie with a rock and roll attitude. Is a boot that is made for talking, and its block heel will make you feel on top of your game. For maximum impact, match these babies with cropped skinny jeans.

Belstaff Jordan is a tall feminine zipper boot that will look great with a skirt. If you want to go with the shorter skirt, keep in mind that the proportion is the key. If you want to go the longer skirt make sure it covers the top of the boot. It also has an eye-catching detachable buckled strap detail with great contrast.

The Michael Kors suede boot is a soft camel suede boot, but you can wear up and down depending on the occasion. It’s also extra accented with straps. Give this hard-working pair an on-trend Seventies finish by matching with cowl-neck cashmere dress and patchwork leather shoulder bag.

The Chloé suede wedge ankle boot takes it a little higher with a burnished-gold buckle-fastening tab, topstitch and panel detail and a wedge heel. Pair them with skinny jeans or leggings that tuck right in and add a top with a fun jacket or scarf. This will balance out your silhouette nicely.

The Pedro Garcia Gabri is a lightweight bootie cut low at the ankle. This chic pair will work equally well with cardigans and embroidered silk-linen dresses.

So, if you ever wondered why fashion makes fall one of my favorite times of the year, now you have the answer.
